Dissolve all the waxes in the mineral spirits at 90 C. Employ a reflux column. Allow the mixture to cool to 50 C. Add pigments under high-speed agitation. Grind through a heated three roller, ointment or colloid mill. Add aluminum stearate at 1-3 percent as a gellant for viscosity control if necessary. |
