The alkali is added to the stock during the defibration process and the peroxide is added after the stock has been heated to bleaching temperature and at such time as to insure retention to the end of the process. The "Hydrapulper" would be preferred equipment because it requires less total processing time than chests. If chests are used, adequate agitation should be insured. |
