Sodium "Tetrine", used with regular laundry sour, will remove heavy iron stains without fabric degradation. This does not mean that a small amount of sodium "Tetrine" added to the sour can be expected to remove very heavy iron stains. It does mean that these stains can be removed by working with a fairly concentrated bath of sodium "Tetrine" and sours and that the removal of the iron stain is accomplished without degeneration of the fabric, provided, of course, that the sour is thoroughly rinsed from the goods after treatment. |
